actually see a difference, you know you need a hdtv, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. The great majority doesnt own a hdtv, and probably won't own one the coming years. Also DVD provided much more advantages over VHS as Bluray/hddvd does over DVD.

losers. Both bluray and hddvd have super crappy sales compared to dvd. Us gamers on this site are probably hdtv owners or in the market for it, but remember the big majority of people hardly even know what hd is and don't give a sh*t about a new hd movie format, and it will be like this for years to come.

This game hasn't been getting that much attention, but from the gameplayvids I've seen it looks pretty awesome. The hd trailer on xblm is awesome to and I'm waiting for the demo.
After paying 100$/euro a year, I don't mind buying new cutting edge hardware that's gonna obliterate the opponent who is just beginning to reach its, by then,last gen full potention.
I bought my 360 in 2005, and I'll gladly replace it for something new, end 2009, as long as there is some backwards capability. It has to be this way in order to compete with pc-games.(graphicswise)

Well, sony is still selling a lot on brand recognition, and I think a lot off people are waiting for the new 360 hardware. But in the end I think both consoles are selling like crap.

At that rate it'll take forever to overtake 360. We'll see what happens when the 360 price cut for Europe gets there and the new hardware arrives.
