maybe they are working on a PC version of GTA5, so that it actually releases at the same time as the console versions instead of a year or so later
@whitenoise
They do this while the best music never see's the light of day in mainstream media
But that comment is subjective is it not?
they are pushing cryengine 3 as a middle-ware platform, it would be in their best interest in the long run to optimise for the ps3 and make it easy for licensees
let me comfort you in your moment of need. Please don't cry, it'll be ok
as long as its a gold exclusive feature i'm sure MS would be open to negotiation
it would probably be steamworks if anything, not the actual steam marketplace. Like the PS3
'once PS3 starts overtaking the 360'
Should be IF ps3 starts overtaking
Remember when pacher said natal will be $50
If games run at full res the pixel density will hide alot of aliasing, I cant wait to try this out
if its anything like bad company 2 it will come eventually. That had an exclusive PS3 beta and eventually pc and 360 got one too
but its still an MS game which means the profits go to MS
also what the hell has pokemon got to do with anything? Also you said exclusives not 360 exclusives, also the PC version wont be counted in this quarter so isn't relevant at all
Actually i thought all of MS's studios were part of microsoft game studios? Comparing it to the windows division i'd see your point, like how sonys psp and ps3 divisions are relative and nintendos wii and ds
$679M operating income just from one quarter (entertainment and devices division) nearly double from the same time last year
apparently only $613m to breaking even on 360 launch which should happen sometime this year. Pretty sure this includes losses from the kin and zune as well
of course, apart from the fact that halo reach came out during this report, and fable 3 which sold well
they are a publicly traded company, they are required to by law
lets hope the hackers are gone for good and there are no workarounds
SasanovaS1987
i could have said exactly the same about red dead redemption exactly one year ago
depends on how good the game is, if take two and rockstar put everything they've got behind it like they did with red dead i cant see why it wouldn't do as good as red dead
also it wouldn't hurt if the game was actually good with good word of mouth and reviews
"those who purchase Portal 2 for the PlayStation 3 may unlock a Steam Play (PC & Mac) copy of Portal 2 at no additional cost by linking their PSN and Steam accounts"
sony did alright, MS were down yoy at the same point in its lifecycle too (2009 lower than 2008 sales in december)
guess you don't play many wrpgs
