yeah, they arent forcing it, you dont have to play in 3d, the games will stil lwork without it. I dont see why adding extra features for free is a bad thing, even if you would never use them
that makes no sense, the games use the same assets for rendering, they just render the same assets from 2 slightly different perspectives so they wouldnt need 2 different sets of files, the 3d effect is done in the renderer by the gpu
actually the PC version will be the best. I thought all PS3 owners preferred PC versions of games?

if it truly does cost $150 dollars to manufacture, for microsoft a $150 retail price would be considered a hell of a deal, as they are offering it for cost. doesnt mean its such a deal for us though
Maybe that's why the chip was removed, maybe the chip could only process 2 at a time, moving it's functions to the 360 would give it more power to process more people
how many games on any console actually run 1080p? not very many at all
ms aren't invested in the tech, not like sony. Sony are pushing it hard as a way to sell more 3d tv's, more 3d blu rays and more PS3's. MS wont push for 3d so heavily as they have nothing to gain from it, whereas sony have quite a lot staked in the 3d market, hence the big marketing push
sony want you to buy 3d tv's and 3d blu-rays, they want to turn a $300 putrchase into a $3000 purchase
Nearly all multiple plat games are around 7gb it's mainly the exclusives that take up the big gigs

Nintendo > Sony > Microsoft.
I think of project natal and kinect as 2 different things. Natal was the magical device which promised us great advances, and kinect is what we ended up with. I have my reservations, and I really do hope for some innovation.
