It will happen eventually. Maybe not during the current gen but I'm sure they won't stay exclusive to Sony forever unless, of course, they are acquired by them. They are just too talented for MS and Nintendo to ignore.

I wonder how long it will be until we start seeing games which implement 3D and motion controls. Games that pop out into your living room and allow you to interact with them in 3D space via the wand (gem?) controller. I hope they do this with MLB 11 (or patch it into MLB 10). Demon Souls 2 could work with 3D + MC.
Maybe I'm jumping the gun a little bit. Idk if what I'm getting at here is even possible yet.
I don't think I would care if they stopped making FF. The series is never going to be as good as it used to be, or as good as any of those classics that bubble posted. I miss Squaresoft =(
The irony here is that Sony didn't bring this to the US themselves because they thought it wouldn't succeed. DS was my personal GOTY as well.
When I first joined this site it was lined up with 360 fanboys and the PS3 was getting ripped to shreds. Every PS3 exclusive was called a flop, multiplatform games were being ridiculed, PSN was getting torched. It was so ridiculous that it became hilarious in a way. But now that the shoe is on the other foot and the PS3 has become the alpha console for many, the PS3 fanboys are returning the favor. I try to be a real gamer and not support it, but it is what it is.
Anyone else get the idea that maybe Tecmo intentionally announced the game as an exclusive to draw hype, fully knowing the game would be multiplatform. How else would they announce a 360 version this month and have it ready to release side by side with PS3 version. This game was touted as PS3 exclusive as late as TGS. Can a 360 port be made that quick?

And just to clarify I'm not saying those are the only games on the 360 because they do have an excellent selection, its just from my experience those are games 360 owners tend to own.

Or maybe PS3 owners just have a wider variety of tastes in games unlike the herd mentality of the Xbox crowd. Every 360 owner I know has the same ****ing games lol. Halo, L4D, COD, Madden, Gears.

Yeah but Sony picked up the slack by nearly doubling the amount of PS3's it sold this November compared to last November.
Motorstorm was bundled in the NA and Uncharted was bundled in the EU IIRC. But even then you can't compare their numbers with Gran Turismo or GTA. They aren't even in the same league.
Look at the sales numbers for Motorstorm Pacific Rift. I don't even know if its cracked a million yet. I love the franchise but the first games success was directly related to it being bundled.
As in a game done by Sony. The only Sony games I see on that list that sold gangbusters are, again, Gran Turismo and Crash Bandicoot.
I'm not talking **** about their games I'm just noting that Sony has never been known as a publisher whose games light up the sales charts with games like COD, Halo, Madden, GTA etc.
The top 5 will probably be LBP, MGS4, U2, COD4, and GTA4 in whatever order.
