This whole thing is dumb to try comparisons,I mean the PS4 Pro makes more sense because it's an improved version of the same console at a reasonable pricepoint for what it is. The Xbox Skorpio is Microsofts next Gen,it will make the Xbox One look stupid and it will likely be extremely expensive for a console. AND by the time it releases Sony will be ready for the PS5,terrible strategy for competing.
Something else people are not mentioning,the cost of Skorpio and it's practically a new console. The PS4 Pro is a reasonable improvement with a cost that is kept in line for what it is. The Skorpio is basically Microsofts next generation coming early because they were losing in sales so badly they needed a massive change. But what happens when Sony releases the PS5 in 2018-19 that is 2X or more powerful than Skorpio and cheaper?

I always felt like they were trying to make the ultimate JRPG with this game,the story is pretty original too. Golden Sun had everything I expected and more in a 3 inch cartridge.

I just bought Dragon's Dogma:Dark Arisen about a month ago and set it aside until 2 weeks ago,it's actually a really fun game that I had barely known existed. But I still think it should have been a Sony exclusive,it probably would have recieved even more attention that way.
That's what I was gonna say,the PS4 has all the advantages. Yeah the price drop was expected and it definitely helps but it still has (better in my opinion) games.
I dunno,I tend to skip most Tales games because so many of their stories are a step back from classic JRPG's these days(and even some Western games are doing story telling better). I actually liked most of the Tales games on the PS One but I'm afraid most of that came from an almost complete overhaul of the dialogue in the English translation which made them more palatable. Unfortunately with the introduction of voice acting to JRPG's the translation problems got magnified by 100X...
I think I agree with you here,overall the dialogue and scenario writing needs some cleaning up in most JRPG's and in FF7 it needs to take itself a little more seriously but still keep the original light-hearted humor. So many combined arms games are ruining their whole balance to coddle infantry-centered players,it's not worth it in the long run. Tanks need to be tanks and infantry need to explode plain and simple.
