As it is 17 seconds long, who knows how old and is recorded in a crappy quality. Not to mention you barely see the people and the tv in the same shot.

Where did they say no cgi, cause many videos i have seen have great voids in visual quality in parts over others, which shows me one of two things. Either they have inconsistencies in graphics (ala Heavy Rain) or they are lieing.
Or you going of what companies are showing you, Alan Wake may be the best looking xbox title, or even across all platforms. But it should be as it is releasing after GOW3, U2, K2 it would be expected, or are used to the same level of quality every year with no increase? Just finished watching the new trailer and to say i was unimpressed by the graphics is an understatement. I keep hearing how good the graphics are, can't we just talk about maybe the sleek new gameplay that it has. Or maybe the movie like story, you know what maybe we could talk about the voice acting and the sound for once. Games are not all about graphics, things are very different this gen, graphics engrose you into the game, but it's not everything.
I really am looking forward to Alan Wake looks suspensful and engrossing, kinda reminds me of Heavy Rain, but this has more action orientated. The only negative i have for the game is it's graphics look a bit 'Masked' just like killzones are with the lighting system doing the work, would love to see a daylight trailer :)

Jees, it may be hard to believe but i have seen Alan Wake gameplay and when a man gets hit by a tracter he doesn't just get bumped aside. I am no fanboy, if games are good, they are good. Like the forza series, play them at my mates house, only games i ask to play when im over :)

Any way you saying you only 5 games for ps3 means nothing, i have over 60 games for my PS3, as i swap games with my gf. I have played fable 1, same as fable 2, but fable 2 wasn't as good. How was Heavy Rain bad? For what it was always touted as, a game with a engrossing story and amazingly regrettful decisions. I am playing it now and how jaw dropping and engrossing story. What did you expect it to be? An action game? It was never said to be that, you should have tried the demo first as in that gave you an idea of what the game was.
Where you refering to GOW3 with the 'linear eye candy' line? Cause there is no way Just Cause 2 is better than, MW, Uncharted 2, MGS4...

For me though it has more than enough charector development to classify as an RPg, i never said JRPG as i agree that it is not a JRPG, and i do prefer them as well. But i've grown to love Action RPGs, personally i dont believe ME2 is an RPG but it is labelled as one.
