Sure is a lot of alleged Xbox fanboys that are verified amazon purchasers of the PS4 with problems. Half the number of those reporting no issues.
Oh please, this is clearly speculation as even the article suggests. And the Xbox one will easily be on par with the PS4 when the games are properly optimized to run on it. Forza 5 is a prime example of an optimized game for the Xbox one. BF4 looks good on Xbox one, because that is how it was made, not because the ps4 version was held back.
I must admit, I love the fact no publisher's nasty hands and overbearing needs are touching a gem like star citizen. I have pledged $720 into the game and still have at least one more ship I may buy.

I am retired now. But when I was working in the Air Force, I took leave for games and after I got my xbox 36o. Everyone knew I was a hardcore gamer and was well aware of why I took leave. Even my commander knew. Hell, he tried to buy my launch 36o from me.
You know, there is a lot of people hoping the opposite given what is going on. But something I noticed might put you at ease. Microsoft has done numerous bus tours with the Xbox one, and hosted a room filled with dozens 64 Xbox ones playing bf4. What did you not hear? No issues. They all worked. The hottest the vents have gotten in its flat position while playing Killzone, appear to be around 138/140º F, so a few degrees cooler, but close to where it was when it was vertical. The top surface still stays at a consistent 110-114º F.

Well that is proof using the console flat is cooler than standing it up.
I have had corruption errors four times on my 36o. I noticed it happens when the game either locked up during loading, or I turned it off during loading. To fix it I simply copy my save file into the cloud. When it happens again, I just copy the save file again but from the cloud to the hard drive.

Lmao! one person caused all of this. Please! Sony went cheap in the wrong places. I have seen this before and so have you, in the 36o. Microsoft went cheap with the 36o to make a profit and it cost them a billion dollars. Funny it was a very similar problem. Insufficient thermal paste, over heating, warping of the cpu when it cooled resulting in failure at the solder points.
