I got into the spark beta, but I do not have windows 8.1. I applied thinking it was an xbox one beta which begins early this year for all Xbox one users.

You are not accounting for the fact the money for GTAV is from a publisher. The revenue for the game went heavily to GTAV's publisher. 100% of the money for star citizen is to the developers, for the devlopment, and marketing for the game. All of the revenue goes to the developers and in turn to developing the game further. No publisher is involved to rush and force it into consumers hands ahead of schedule (looks at bf4). They can spend time perfecting the game and add features they want...

I am a fan also, but the game demos I have tried with the new kinect, it works a heck of a lot better than the 36o kinect. It is absolutely not one to one movement, but it is damn close.
Option to disable the kinect or not. Unplug it and quit whining.

I love this game's multiplayer and enjoyed the single player. I must admit though, gladiator's used a heck of lot more weapons than what is presented in the game. It would be nice to have those.

If you have a TV on, plus another one you are using for your xbox one, kinect will be a hit or miss on your voice commands and even hear the TV and initiate a command. When people calibrate their kinect, it is done with the belief by the calibration software, that the only ambient noise is your tv you are using for gaming. I have two TVs in my computer room. One to watch tv, and the other solely for my xbox one and PC.
To over come this ambient noise issue, I play my xbox one...
If people would quit throwing their controllers, this would not happen.
I Know right. I played games on my iPad. It just does not beat sitting down on a console or PC. I won't be buying a handheld gaming device given I have my tablet though.
