As a veteran of the first two steel battalion games I find the background story line to be a little unimpressive. I want to be able to use rail guns and guided missiles again. I will keep an eye on this game before I commit to a purchase.

Yeah it was that way in operation flashpoint when I played it on pc. The first thing people asked was who had a flight stick. I would say I do. And they would say you fly. It does have a greater sense of cooperation than on consoles. But then that is where you start sending friend invites out to build a team. Party chat on Xbox helped bug time for bad company series.

This game sucked. I felt like I was floating when I moved. The aiming was ok but the overall gameplay was boo-boo. And bulletstorm it is not though it clearly wants to be.
So if I kill forty people as a sniper, then I am not helping the team? Sure seems to make the enemy lose when it happens. Ticket loss happens for kills just like it does for loss control points.
The job of aircraft in a conventional war is to maintain air superiority and support the ground forces, not hold or defend the ground. Boots on the ground do that job. I want to play mmo's like old republic. I want something that will look great and play great and pc gaming is where it apparently is at for a while. Current console games are barely satisfying me lately and I need a new girl in the bed to make me happy. :)

Loved the first game, but I might be slow picking this up unless the release is in the summer. Too many fps games between now and spring.

Star war kinect and the new ghost recon do exactly what you say is not possible with kinect as the only input. It is possible. But this dual interface method implemented by capcom and turn10 enhance the interaction of the gameplay.
