Shame.
I'm super excited for this game. I loved the first one.
The lighting in the room.
Not a big fan of stealth games. Not sure how I feel about that.
I agree. When I was younger I LOVED big maps and big games, but now I just don't have the time to get through them. Zelda is an exception though, because the kid in me is screaming in joy.
That's... a big map.
That Zelda booth is amazing!
Agreed. It was fun at first. It after 6 games of that I'm done.
Think you'll be able to chop down any tree, or just specific ones required to solve puzzles?
It was boring.
I was FREAAKING OUT when I saw that! A Spiderman game that looks awesome, AND by insomniac? Sign me up!
True, we're not gonna see what the actual game looks like for years.
Maybe, but it's hard to say from what little we saw of the game. Still, it would be cool if it was!
Ha! I knew it! :D
Hey guys! I wrote the article.
I was going to include Super Mario Bros. (since it's an obvious addition to the list) but the exact launch date for the game is unknown, and there's no definitive proof it was released alongside the NES.
If it's ever proven, though, you can be sure that I'll go back and put it right at the top of the list.
Really? I've yet to see a single preview that didn't complain about the controls.
I'm not sure if I would call it the best game of E3, but it certainly does look awesome!
Hey, article author here.
One thing I find interesting is that noone ever defends Final Fantasy 2. I've seen people go crazy because their favorite game is too low (usually seems to be 8) or that a game they didn't like is too high (usually 13, sometimes 12) but never once have I seen anyone complain that FF2 is at the bottom, or offer any sort of defense of the game.
@TWB
Essentially nothing you said there is true. Abandonware is not an actual thing that exists, and NES/SNES would most certainly not be considered abandonware even if it did. Remember: Many of these games are still being sold via the Virtual Console service.
There's a moral argument to be made for downloading old ROMs anyway, and hey, I'm not here to judge, but it helps no one to spread misinformation.
The first one was a pretty cool game.
