It wasn't so much of a scam for me while I was playing because a lot of my RL friends played it, which made it very enjoyable. But looking back at it, I should of never picked it up.
Yeah, because, they constantly provide monthly updates for WoW right? I dunno, after playing WoW for four years and spending all that money and time, it's just time to move on. That's why GW2 intrigues me so much. One time fee and it seems to already have a large community fan base. That, and the developers seem pretty content on addressing the problems that existed in the first game.
Can't wait for guild wars 2 Merivigian. Will be a terrific game. Those who pay monthly fees are getting scammed. I actually feel sorry for those who pay monthly. Whatever, its their money. ^_^.
