I see what your saying but lets agree to disagree. I'm sure The Coalition are capable of the job and I'm also sure they have a build that is much further along than this build but they are testing background stuff, net code, stress testing and like you said, they would only beta test the most stable build they have in office, not a build that is still deep in development.

What does that even mean? red flag for what exactly? please do some research regarding this before commenting. The Coalition have been very vocal on quite a few outlets regarding this beta since before it was even released so all this so called concern is ridiculous imo.
Stop! just stop with the ridiculous hyperbole. This is a Pre-alpha build that looks decent for what it is but in no way does it look out of this world so stop the BS.
@ultra "that much more" where did the scale come from.. much more of what? I basically said what the devs have informed us, the graphics and animation will be improved by release. How much doesn't matter to me as IMO it already looks pretty decent for game running at 1080p 60fp on console.

I'm baffled by the absolute ignorance in the comments for the facts regarding this beta being a Pre-Alpha build and that it is missing not only extra graphical details like lighting, shadders, textures and so on but also animations, confirmed by the devs themselves.
Are people this eager to downplay that for a pre alpha build, it looks damn good and seems to play silky smooth. Imagine the final build and then imaging the single player for that matter.
Of course it is, right along with wall cancelling, these are gears gameplay staples. That would be like removing the supper human floaty jump from Halo, devs would get crucified!
