At the time the PS3 was severely supply strained so its not the best comparison to use, but yeah its selling better.
PS4 will probably not move any big numbers for a couple more months (unless MGS and FF14 are very popular).

I guess I can understand that the other Sony platforms have large userbases for the game, but on the other hand a PS4 release now could have helped to starting creating the foundation for the series moving forward on the PS4.

Its not releasing with the others because Ubisoft probably thinks its not going to sell well (which is not me defending Ubisoft).

wow I loved that when I was a kid.
Game movies have had it quite bad most of the time. I really hope this movie, if it does go into production, ends up being good. The game is awesome, would be a shame for the movie not to be.
game already went gold (so no extra work can be added to the disc content) so starting work on DLC that big of a deal. As long as its not locked on disc DLC... lke some companies have tried to pull in the past
it would be cool if the exclusive content included the ability to dress up the character as the Delsin from Infamous, beanie would be a cool little touch for fans of both games

I am sure I read that Double Eleven was going to announce their PSV/ PS4 port of a PS3 exclusive game this week.
Also their other game, Frozen Synapse: Tactics, does not seem to have a lot of info/ media. Maybe that will get some updates this week too.
While its true this is not an indie dev, the engine they license is used by some portion the indie community.
Id really like to see Sony try and put that Eyedentify PS3 game into production. Could be a sweet game for a camera.
'Reports' seemed to indicate that aesthetically and the scale etc were comparable to Destiny, as well as being a sci-fi. It was assumed that the devs started to try and change the direction of the game to distance itself from Destiny and that is what caused problems.
But I can believe Cory on this, perhaps they were not as similar as initial reports indicated they may have been.

Just because they are asking for experience on the PS3 does not mean they are working on a PS3 game. Hard to say experience working on PS4 considering how new it is.
PS3 experience is just to prove that they have worked on the previous sony platform before.

Atlus saying no Demon Souls 2 means nothing at all considering they are not the developer of the game (its From Software and SCEJ) nor even the original publisher (only for the US release).
They would not know anything about a DS sequel, especially since Sony would definitely localise the sequel themselves making Sony the sole publisher of the game in all regions.

There is still of course those who may have PS+ and are netting both resogun and Contrast, and there is the FF14 for PS4 started its beta too.
So yeah, as you say: appear to be lots of reason to not have to buy games, and of course we are not considering those you may just be buying the games off the PSN store.
