the only thing is, the average consumer won't know this stuff before buying the game. so when people say "vote with your wallet" its not gonna reach the people who the game is aimed at. so they'll probably get away with it.

tbh thats 100% false, it was built for developers. cerny did a trip going to all major studios and asked what they wanted in the new console.
their number 1 ask was for a super fast SSD. other things of course etc etc.

I don’t know how you can say that, going on from origins was the biggest change to the series yet. Became more rpg than ever and now it feels like the Witcher.
so games like god of war look amazing. if they can not use ray tracing and use the extra performance from not using RT to make other things look even better, i'd ber down for that.
because people don't upgrade to next gen for cross gen games. its also very misleading that they haven't already got it listed for both ps4 and ps5.
i'm trying to think...gtav came out on ps3 so really, the only next gen game rockstar made was red dead redemption 2 right? damn, i can't think of anyother game they brought out. 1 game a gen :D
