No Petra! Void list. ;_;

This is like saying Snoak is more important than the Knights of Ren. It's a shallow narrative with shallower meaning.

You can't resist engaging still, I see.

Don't worry, I don't bother reading. I'll just be happier when your name disappears from the platform.

I did! That's the fastest 50 hours I have ever spent with a game. Normally it takes me a month-plus to put in that many hours. I ploughed through this game in 2 weeks.

Ugh, this guy is still at it.

Couldn't agree more! That was the easiest 47 hours I've spent with a game (meaning it was just that engaging to play) in a very, very long time, not to mention an easy Platinum. I was absolutely glued to it from start to finish.

Everyone bitching about the new face, I don't think you're considering that, going forward, this franchise is going to be on PS5, which means greater capacity for facial rigging and dynamic lighting. Perhaps the previous face proved difficult to get the emotional results that they want when syncing with Yuri's delivery, and they want to deliver the best results possible in that regard.

I'll miss the old face, too, but I don't think this ruins Peter's...

Hm. What about the PC version?

No, no it doesn't. Heartbreaking could refer to themes, settings, character moments, cutscene, gameplay, or any number of things, not anything specific. It's a nebulous concept. You could say the first game was heartbreaking, but we all know that game has several heartbreaking moments. It's true that reviewers often abuse their platform, but you're just picking bits here.

Normally, I would agree, or at least question Polygon's motives. But, in this case, I think their review holds plenty of weight. The above comments clearly didn't read the whole review, because it isn't just the use of violence that the writer takes issue with, but how it is used and how it correlates with the story and characters. The writer didn't like the story, and there are a LOT of people that are going to feel that way, and they aren't just snowflakes and SJWs for f...

This, to me, just further alludes to the toxicity of their development culture. I watched an interview with one of the lead art directors, and it was clear that the workflow pipeline and communication structure there is a mess. I'm sure that happens with a lot of studios. But pair that with the clique and mob culture they reportedly have, and it's no wonder their turnover rate is so high.

Huh?

It's fine if you don't get it, but that doesn't make it needless.

And that's what makes it great. It's just something silly and fun. It's sometbing modders would do. Now it's just a goofy addition for giggles. Monster Hunter was never meant to take itself seriously. Lighten up.

No way. RE2 is the best remake by miles.

@Christopher Because Mr. Ek is a rather gross individual.

He looks like Captain Falcon, to me.

I just want to stop seeing articles from Ek. He's just a trashy person.

I think it's time that games journalists lose the arrogance that drives them to tell a developing studio what games they should/should not be making. Fine if you have that opinion, but don't assert your opinion like it's a mandate.

They are miles away from being stuck in a rut, creatively speaking.

It may seem over the top to you, but it's part of their culture when conveying excitement.
