I thought Sony would bring fidelity mode to 60fps, but it turns out... kudos to DF... that's not the case.
What Sony is doing is taking performance mode from existing titles and upscaling it to a higher resolution leaving max settings behind.
Same CPU still can't handle max settings at 60fps.
They are also adding higher rez... AI upscale raytracing, so that reflections are more up to par with the rest of the game.
That kinda kill...
My boys are playing PS5, and I'm and old man playing PS4 Pro. Enjoying Abe again, but the originals... not that new and tasty one.
I'm not in a hurry for another PRO, and it all depends what games are gonna take the advantage of it.
But yes... I'm staying and will upgrade Sony's hardware for our digital library.
GTA6 is probably be the reason to upgrade... ahead of PS6.
