Sadly, I would buy the NX for Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite, I own them on the Xbox 360 but they are incredible games I would buy any console for. But yes I see your point that the NX will likely die if all it is getting is old ports. If Borderlands is coming to the system unless it is the first game I wouldn't buy it because I own the rest of the gsmes on the Playstation 4.
Just to clarify to your point announcing a sequel to the Last of Us this year would not hurt Uncharted 4, particularly when the game won't arrive until sometime next year.
In Australia it is $79.95, the pricing needs to be more co-coordinated around the world.
I am hoping that downloadable content might be the case in the future, hopefully add some more Bowser minigames and some more boards would be nice. Though to be honest I did personally find it fun to be in the car in this instance, given I hated it in Mario Party 9.
I just wish they could have done Amiibo better, they had potential, just sadly did not use it, maybe future downloadable content might help out as well given Nintendo has a great history with the content just look at Mario...
Exactly, though sadly they won't, I would always like to see more games come to the Wii U and yearly releases should appear on the console if nothing else.
The only one of these games I don't have that is listed is Bayonetta 2, it is a shame that more people have not picked up ZombiU or The Wonderful 101 they are both great games that should be in everyone's collection.
I can't say much for Wave Race, Perfect Dark or even Blast Corps having never played them. However Jet Force Gemini is one game I would love to see a return it just didn't make this list, I will probably consider that for a future list.
I wish someone would bring the Bubsy franchise back, I loved these games in my childhood even if others thought they were bad. Curse you April Fools for making such a cruel joke.
I would rathered get this for the Wii U then my Playstation 4, why couldn't they have done this. Before anyone says anything I know the logistical reasons.
I feel the games don't need to be remastered for the Wii U, The original Super Mario Galaxy was great and all but you can still play it on the Wii U with your Wii version, and I am not going to get into my hatred towards the second Galaxy game which was just plain awful. Not to mention with the recent beginning of Wii downloads on the Wii U eShop there is even less reason.
No to Super Mario Galaxy, but a giant yes to Bioshock Trilogy, they are some of the best games I have played particularly Infinite, I really want them for my Playstation 4.
I love ZombiU it was an absolutely incredible game and one game that more people really should have played on the Wii U. It is just a shame Ubisoft didn't put time into advertising it.
I am on your side on this, we need Super Mario Sunshine HD, the game needs more attention. I never owned a GameCube so I was never fortunate enough to play this game.
The sad thing with Murdered Soul Suspect is I wanted to like it, unfortunately for me some things were underdone or just did not quite work. Though if I removed the some of the gameplay itself and just followed the story and mystery it would be one of 2014's best games. It sadly for me never quite hit the mark it strived for.
Thankyou very much I really appreciate that, I was honestly not sure if it was that good.
They just need to put it on the Wii U add the excellent Wii U multiplayer system from Black Ops 2 and Ghosts where we use the Gamepad for one player to play on and the other gets a full TV it was great.
I was the same, I was concerned with this game when it was announced right up until launch, but when I played it I loved it so much it is my Game of the Year for 2014. I was discussing the idea of Mario Warriors with my Brother in Law the other day and both want to see that as well as other crossovers like that.
Firstly this is a really well written article, and I actually agree with your points, it is true that the players are at fault with many of them expecting far higher quality and extra things for a game that is possibly not worth it to developers.Though personally I would love for DLC to be released for the Call of Duty games on my Wii U I accept they aren't and for good reason. Positively I feel I do fall out of your points, I do not expect good quality I just want them to at least tie in...
I like your list, it has some really good games on it, for me the only reason Wind Waker does not appear on this list is because it is a remake so I don't classify it as an exclusive. Whereas Captain Toad was not considered this time around because at the time of writing Captain Toad was not available in Australia.
Though I do like the fact we have some similar choices just in different orders, I love my Wii U, best exclusives of a generation or at least thus far.
During that show Hex was off at E3, but yes I agree with your sentiment, one of them is enough.
