You should always give a game your interested in a go for yourself.
I would have never found out about Suikoden/Lunar/Katamari if I didn't.

Still a good console if you love FPS and don't mind paying for online gaming. Still not the console for me though
Didn't get the collectors edition, but got the regular old game. I don't like racing games, but I always seem to give GT a go. Its just a blast
Personally I think blasting your product all over "7-11 cups" and Burger King give aways just make it seem cheap. You don't need a huge marketing campaign for this game. The prologue sold 5 million, its not a new gimmick. Its GT5.

One disadvantage of being a reviewer. You only get a certain amount of time on the game before your forced to move on.

Castleton State College has an enrollment of 1900 students and 200 part time students.
334 Xbox's and 94 PS3... College kids don't have a ton of money. I didn't have a PS3 in college, or a Xbox.
Friends did though, so I didn't need one.
