Agree, but you can't reason with the casual mob that sees the greater number the better. Hell Goldeneye was 2v2 and look how much fun you could have.

Lesser of two evils with EA. Activision already gets my Blizzard $, both are a joke though I agree.
This will happen, everyone will forget about all this trouble with EA once that game arrives. I plan on getting it, it's a great way to send a message to CoD.

Hearthstone is a casual hit, my wife loves it! It's a fun game that anyone can pick up and play, I'm waiting for Legacy of the Void personally.

I remember all those console launches too, but I was just a kid when the NES launched. I wasn't worried about launch titles or how many games each console had. I was wondering if I would even get the system and how late the local rental shop was open.

But lets be real about this, digital backwards compatibility should be a reality. It's not like you are losing money or anything, you still have to pay for the game. I can still fire up AOE and play, makes no sense.

Simple fact is, if you don't like the player count don't buy the game. Go buy a game that you think will be a blast to play, then if you find out you're missing a great experience then buy Titanfall after the dust settles. Arm chair developers is a great term, since people here seem to be expert game programmers and can make a game better than a full team.
If they even tried to make a game like Mario Brothers they would cry with the syntax errors alone.
