You're right. The guys in the suits in the meetings want the $$, but the guys writing code all day just want someone to experience and enjoy their hard work.
I'm glad you can stick with it. The game felt so much fun after the first few matches, but then it felt stale very quick. Glad you're loving it though!
They do have some new concepts and it's tempting to jump in again and hope it's a homerun like MW2...
Just can't do it though, can't even wait until a price drop because by that time, another CoD will be springing up. Take a year off to get everyone hyped up about a quality CoD, otherwise is just another year, another CoD skipped.
At least the yearly AC installments have a story you can look forward too, I could say the same with MW2, but sin...
I got Tomb Raider on the steam sale. I'm sure it will go to PC after some time, but if it doesn't then too bad for them. They are missing out on a huge base of gamers, real developers only want people to experience their game.
You know, Titanfall was very fun the first few days I had the game. Then it just got boring. I fear the same for this game.
I fear that CoD will never revisit the good ole days of WWII. Just too slow now for everyone.
Red Alert 3 wasn't THAT bad, but I'm sure RA2 will be higher on the list for sure.
Rogue sounds like it might be fun, but still just getting Unity. Got too little time to spread around.
Shadow of Mordor and AC will change my PS4 playing time!
lol, the game is still fun IMO. Black Flag was amazing, it made me want to do all the side stuff again. Hopefully they will add some new things to make it just like BF. If not, Shadow of Mordor does look good.
Best was Goldeneye, Mario games, and sports games. I understand the benefits of having your own screen and playing online. We had Lan parties all the time also, it was a different time. Kids will grow up and remember those countless hours they had playing games, but not being their in person. They will still have fond memories and joy.
Man every time I see the title of this game I see "VANDAL HEARTS" then I get excited about a remake!
Game looks like the Journey of this year. Hopefully it comes with a nice price tag.
Awesome series way back when. Hope it translate to next gen well.
No thanks, don't have the time to run through this game again with better visuals. Too many other games to play, game was a masterpiece though, and I'm happy for everyone that has the time and $$ to play it again.
I agree, makes me think of Demon Souls. People just jumping in and being idiots.
It's a change of the formula. If you want the same keep Black Flag, but I understand the thought process. They don't want their MP to turn into a rehash every year like CoD.
Unless there is a fantasy mode, I'm not even looking into this game.
All this Titanfall love. Titanfall was like that awesome firework you see. Burns bright and awesome, then just fades so fast. Then...nothing.
lol Free to Play? It would mean just given away, no micro transaction unless you want to access certain areas of the Mojave for $1.99.
I got this on the Fallout Steam Sale for $4.99 and that's with all the DLC. Played Vanilla on release, and the DLC is worth it! Great game, can't wait until Fallout 4!
