i'm agree with ruibing, you are going to have a los of MS fans andxbox fans signing the petition in order to hurt sony, i think the best way to keep alive the format is buying a lot of movies and HD-DVD player may be those 16.8 millions of xbox owners can buy the add-on HD DVD and that can be a huge win for toshiba :P

1- HP is neutral and they are selling blu-ray also, the last numbers from hp show more blu ray drives sold than HD-DVD
2- Dell is supporting Blu-ray
3- Lenovo is selling Blu-ray also
4- Acer is Neutral
5- Sony VAIO are Blue-ray only (obviously)
6- Apple is selling Blu-ray only (just to be MS nemesis)
7- usually if you want to see a movie or a music concert in the best quality on your tv you buy a DVD or a high defi...

well for me reliable is an offical statement from Konami that i can see in their web page, i still believe that MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive but my point is that you need more than that to kill a rumor
for is an uphill, they need to do better marketing and have good promos, one way to win, is going to be a special bundle with "MGS4 + price cut" and maybe MS is going to offer XBL for free :D
in fact a lot of people said that the ps3 was launched to be doomed for the price tag, and now is selling pretty good world wide
well we have to wait until we have a better idea of the year but if PS3 continue to sold more than xbox worldwide my prediction is this:

Ps3 is outselling xbox 360 this week, keep in mind that this chart don't have japan sales for the past week ;), the software thing is amazing but maybe is because xbox gamers usually buy the game at the time they are release and ps3 is selling software little by little
the graph are almost as good as playing with a 320 MB video card with improve particles and well if you can set your PS3 in the right way is almost a computer, you can install Linux and use it, i check my email and i do web browsing with it. is fantastic to use Linuz from my Settee and now they finally found how to use the 3D graph card with linux i'm gooing to play Halo emulated from the OS :P
this is going to be Afrika snap, the PS3 version of pokemon snap, the Graph are great we have to wait until we can see real in game action

this game is going to be awesome, i think (and don't kill me) that is going to be like gear un Xbox 360, enjoy the games and play them you need to buy the 2 consoles.
PS: MGS3 sales were afected by piracy of modded Ps2, i know at leaset 100 owners of Ps2 and and only 4 of them have MGS3 original from retailer then there are almost 50 of those owners that have the game Burned in a DVD (and those are the ones that have the PS2 with the special chip)
the xbox and the PS3 are good consoles, you have pros and cons in each of them, only one thing cross my mind now...
Blue ray is wining the war thanks to the Ps3 so in the end, if blueray wins the format war all of the companies need to adopt blueray disc (including MS) so if MS release a new console in the future they have to adopt the format so they are going to pay sony for it.
