There is a no respawn mode, its called classic mode, look it up

kz2 was not 1080p native, it was 720p, so there is no downgrade in visuals
Xbox can handle the game, it really comes down to the players.
This game isn't for pussies and people who are just generally shit at games (casual gamers).
Its a true hardcore experience and if its anything like Demon Souls, it will kill you repeatedly, steal away your soul and leave you waking up with a very sore arse.
