have nothing to do with the 360 being maxed out. The games that were put out that looked inferior than PS3 first party games has more to do with those developers for MS having their talent maxed out. As we can see now you can't blame the console you can only blame the developers and their attitude of it is good enough. They should have been trying harder since Uncharted 1.

MS wants to sell consoles and looking over at Nintendo they see that casual games work. Car games generally put on a decent showing, but none of them have ever sold the amount the Gran Turismo franchise is used to selling.
