i wouldn't call it empty worthless space, however, i would call it space to explore, places to find hidden stuff, space for epic races with every vehical you can imagine
vice city was to small and we couldn't even swim
SA is the highest selling GTA game and THQ game for a reason
i was looking at nvidia tegra stuff and stumbled across this http://www.youtube.com/user...
right at the end, the guy demoing the unit clearly says quad core will ship on tablets by august and on phones by christmas, i dont even care that its coming this year, the fact that he even states that its coming is good enough
i know this is quite late to respond but, its not exclusive to V, there just getting it first, according to engadget
i dont no where you got twice the price from but im sure it will be priced the same as todays highend phones or slightly more, they cost enough as is
the capacity for batteries has already increased, its just up to the manufacturers to implement it, look at the motorola atrix for example
two years ago could you envision a game handheld and a smartphone being able to display 3D? and without glasses to boot?
seriously, if you have not looked at...
my point is, of course a 2 year old phone is going to be cheaper then a unreleased phone, hell, the play will probably cost the same given a similar amount of time...so again, i dont see you point
the play does exactly what i want except play PSP games but im okay with that
i wouldn't look at this article and think thats how much it will cost everywhere, gummobile are selling it for £100 cheaper
im not sure what your trying to prove but i'll give you some info
iphone 3GS was released on june 2009, you got yours 10 months later, locked as well
even if you did everything the same except buying it sim free you probably would have paid something like £500, consider that you can preorder the play for as much right now,
maybe they did it for hits or not enough research was done but doing a simple google search will show that you can get the play for far cheaper elsewhere in fact £100 cheaper http://www.gummobile.com/ph...
and cheaper still if you get it on contract like most people will do
the 3gs is old and was old last year, if you bought it on launch day, new, unlocked, expect to pay something similar to the play
why your comparing a 2 year old phone to a unreleased phone i will never no
and like other have said, the iphone, when it was new sold for £600
no quad core phones have been announced but nvidia displayed there road map for their future CPU's which did include quad core and 3D
most phones dont need dual core but we have them anyway, when your in a smartphone market filled to the brim with high spec handsets a USP is needed, even if simply having quad core is that USP expect manufacturers to add that
if i could i would bet you £10 that manufacturers will use quad core at some point later thi...
you bring up a excellent point, im guessing if the demand is there sony could do this, quad core CPU's would also make it viable
and your right about the games being rebuilt instead of emulated, i read that emulated games hardware needs to be something like 5X more powerful then the original
they barely run because they are being emulated, if they were rebuilt for the specific device or OS it would run far easier and wouldnt need so much power from the CPU
@ below, i agree with everything you said which is why i think PS2 games would be viable on a smartphone probably when quad core shows up and that wait isn't to long
"maybe on sony only devices...........
"since been edited out"
which means they were full of shit"
no, it just means it has not been confirmed by anyone
true, the xperia play cant play PS2 games but phones come out every month unlike gaming handhelds
nvidia's quad cores are coming out in august this year, expect to see an xperia play 2 or a similar device from samsung, motorola etc running a tegra 3 q...
gaming on phones is going to get much bigger very soon
by august this year we will have quad core CPU's on phones, give it proper gaming controls and game support and it suddenly becomes a viable gaming platform
they aren't missing anything except apps, if you dont care about that stuff then your good to go
the only thing i can think of is maybe people who want to platinum the game found it almost impossible because of how hard radec was
radec made it fun, the sense of accomplishment from killing him on elite was great, although saying that, i died against him an untold amount of times but it was still fun
i just finished elite yesterday using the dual shock 3
KZ2 was definitely harder then KZ3, especially the end
hes just a general troll overall, check his comment history
but i'll address his comment anyway, shooters have been done to death, open world games such as GTA dont come around nearly as often, the last decent open wrold game (saints row 2) came out in 2008
on average im sure we get more then one shooter a month, usually a crappy one too and its real simple why, there relatively easy and short to make, lots of profit can be made (thanks to COD) and simple...
