and even those who paid can get it done again for cheap if they look in the right place
lol just because your to lazy or tiered doesnt mean casuals or hardcore gamers wont seek out ways to mod (there all simple enough)
its EASY and/or CHEAP to mod your 360
the moddification process isnt so long that a casual would just give up
because he has to use his brain and until you can provide proof that this is or isnt a big issue your claims dont hold up
i'll run down your list and prove my point
1. "modding your Xbox 360 voids the warranty"
not any more, if you did a bit of research you would know how easy it is to get around that
2. "Not aware of modded 360 making a significant dent in XBox sales. If they did, someone would be in court"
so if someone doesnt tell you its a significant problem, it isnt? theres no evidence to show that it is or isnt a big problem so that point is moot ...
me and many others play best on the D pad and some people dont wanna buy an extra controller just to play one genre of game (crazy, i no)
so...you fail i guess :)
"Sony is pushing too far when it comes to making a gloriously violent game"
"looks at every mortal combat game"
i dont think so, besides MOAR violence is good
people who care enough to take advantage of this already knew about this long before the article was created
your crazy if you think its only a small amount of hardcore modders so no need to worry.
its easy enough to mod your 360 now a days and if you do the research and if your to lazy to do it your self there are so many people offering to mod a 360, cheapest i saw was £20 which included return delivery
any fool can pay for it to be done, then all you need to do is burn a downloaded iso
my point is, its not only the "hard core modders" who wann...
that wont happen
microsoft are more interested in buying 3rd party exclusives
i wouldnt expect them to develope a game of killzones magnitude with the first part studios they currently have
anything to down play this awesome game huh?
why does microsoft need to match sonys studios?
you dont see nintendo abandone there studios because sony has more
just having a few more studios would be good for them (less money spent on 3rd party exclusives) and better for 360 gamers
nice, well deserved
This "source" needs a name
whats stopping me from doing the same thing as this guy?
for all we know this is complete bullsh!t
more facts and less nameless microsoft PRs please
the haters want it to fail because
A. its a ps3 exclusive
B. they cant play it because of fanboy loyalty
C. they cant argue with "game quality" so they argue with sales instead
D. getting a weird pleasure in seeing your biggest competition fail even if its to early to be confirmed
i could go on...
exactly, where did the term "retail pre-orders" come from all of a sudden? theres no proff that it even exist but we all know what "customer pre-orders" are besides, since when did retailers pre order games?
funny how this term came up just as killzone 2 gets released......
expect the unexpected....
atleast those ps3 games had a name,
a speculated release date
a developer(s) who have made AAA games recently
you cant honestly say rare have done any of these but dont get me wrong, i want rare to make a AAA game, specifically killer instincts but to say two rumored, unannouced, nameless games from rare will be AAA is just hoping for the best
"Rare Whipping Up Two AAA Games This Year"
What?
nothing has been annouced yet and you call it AAA?
hyping up rumors will more then likly lead to dissapointment
I hope rare produces AAA games in the future
a resurgence is needed for microsoft and rare
it comes down to prefference like many above said
and i personally prefer ps3 games
looking at the PS3 exclusive line up i can honestly say i want them all except GT5 (im not into racing games)
while on the other hand looking at the 360 line up i can honestly say i dont want anything except maybe halo:OSD and even that might be so so because of the lack of info so far
like i said MY prefference
but free is FREE
and for many its not the price of XBL that is the problem, its that people have been playing online games on the PC long before the 360 came about with out any sub to pay and whats even worse is games for windows live on the pc can be played online without a gold sub
then you have the PSN which is free and offers almost the same experience minus some features
360 fanboys see it as paying a small amount for a superior service
ps3 fa...
