from a business standpoint a PSPhone would enter almost a untapped market, i'm not talking about shit iphone games im talking about full PSP games on a PSPhone, no one else has made a device capable and only nintendo is really the only other company who can but they went the 3DS route so sony could really take advantage of that, also, put android on it and you have instant interest
with all the features that would probably go into a PSPhone would mean it would be expensiv...

i disagree with the GOW3 comment, unless your a dev you dont no what went into GOW3 to make it look that good and to have a game on that scale, just because you didn't like it does not mean it doesn't fall into the "uncharted 2 level"

staying power is subjective but in terms of the games you mentioned i will do a little run down
alan wake - good game but once its completed there is little reason to go back except for DLC but everything has DLC these days
crackdown 2 - looks worse then the original, still zero story, for a open world game this is a major fail, not much else content added
I just wonder why microsoft chose this route, even directly copying sony and nintendo in terms of obtaining first parties studios would have been a huge win for them, i just dont understand it
whether that is true or not RPGs certainly sell better on the PS3
a new saga with a well thought out story would certainly capture my interst and i assume many others

this is my dream portable device, only sony can do this effectively because of all their divisions available
just make it happen sony, i'll be there, day one to purchase it
but for a reviewer and others being fun is not enough, it has to improve significantly over the original and crackdown 2 has not done this
