The reason I wrote this was to show that a game does not have to be innovative and that people should not overreact before actually playing it. I thought that was a very valid point to be made.

Honestly in this day and age, 12 hours isnt that short at all. 8-10 yeh, but im going to play it on max difficulty in order to get the most out of the game, like i always do :)

Definately. Well said sir. I think the reasons might be that people are looking for too much innovation, are scorned by last year's failures and the demos might have been poorly chosen in order to not spoil the story.
