Plagas and the majini kind of detracted from the atmosphere as they seemed intelligent to a degree.

I loved the old horror aspect of the original games!
Really miss good old Raccoon City and the atmospheric Spencer mansion. The original was one of the very first games I played on PS1.

The sad thing is it could redeem itself so fast with a few key titles, but the company seems preoccupied with making awful business decisions.

Yeah rumours seem to be surfacing everywhere.
A lot of the magazines are hinting at next gen projects in development. Maybe the next wave is sooner than we think. ;)

The introduction of new consoles is always a great time for new IPs.
People are more open to trying new titles when new hardware is unleashed.
Just look at Resistance: Fall of Man. Great game but it probably wouldn't have sold as much if it wasn't a launch title.
A Halo title at launch would be cool.
However, if Gears of War 4 will launch with the console, they may not want the two competing against eachother.

So underrated it's actually quite disheartening considering titles like Zumba Fitness can rack millions of sales and gems like these get lost in the background.
Yes although it would be good to take advantage of the PS3's features such as Blu Ray etc, it wouldn't make sound business sense for an exclusive.
Maybe Sony paid for exclusivity?

Yes some rumours do fly completely off the mark.
However, I'd place Resident Evil 6 smack-bang for a TGS 2011 announcement - seems only logical.
As for the EA PS3 exclusive, remember those Black Troll Studios rumours that propped up lately, could be the writing on the wall! :)
