You’re right, still isn’t what was promised.
The “author” here doesn’t know what the word snub means.
Same here.
Cancelled mine after the price raise. Same with Netflix after recent increase. These companies are all testing how much people are willing to shell out for subscriptions. Gotta draw the line somewhere.
If you’re calling someone a snowflake, you’re in for a surprise: you’re probably a snowflake yourself.
The collection is fine, but to say it's "made with love" shows that you're simping for Konami. They kick out the bare minimum, and you see "love". The author is probably an onlyfans regular.
lol “confusion and angst”. More like “backlash and anger”. Perhaps their moronic executives were feeling confused by the response to the new policy.
“Kind of mid”?
Spot-on
Longtime battlefield fan. I held off on 2042 due to the bad initial state. Played it recently for the first time and enjoyed myself. Definitely worth a shot if you can get it for free.
Not crazy about the push for in-game purchases, but the core game is enjoyable at this point.
How about: forget about ecosystems, platforms, “connectedness,” and every other scheme meant to milk customers. Just make a really great Battlefield game, and people will buy it.
Based on recent playstation consoles, we are currently 38% of the way through the period between the PS5 launch and an predicted PS6 launch.
As for “lifecycle”, PS4 is set to end production this year, giving it ~10 year production run. If PS5 matches that, then PS5 is currently 26% through its lifecycle.
Regardless of how you measure it, this “50% of its lifecycle” thing is nonsense for clicks.
“Journalism”
You do know what GOTY stands for, right?
“Brah”?

If you order from this company, and your order arrives damaged, they will 100% ignore any support requests. Used to like buying from them, but no longer recommended.
Winning which generation, the last one?
@eidolon you’d have to write ~80GB of data every single day for 20 years to reach the TBW rating for the console (internal) storage. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
