For gaming, the PC is always more expensive. Always. Games maybe $10 bucks cheaper, but they will always get you in the long run.
PC has graphics. That's it. They cost more. Sure you can build one cheap but they need to be upgraded constantly. So in the long run if you want top end gaming, consoles are cheaper. They don't have great exclusives other than MMO's because no PC maker has a dedicated game studio like the 3 consoles have. When it comes to average games, maybe. But top tier titles like Gears of War 3 are a different story. You can't tell me that people just stumble across that pirated title and only play it because it's free, that they weren't gonna play it some other way before.
