1,1 - BlasterMaster: "Ive already said that I see consoles getting smaller and smaller to the point where its just a hand held with an hdmi and optical out for tv hookups. "
Yeah, because the PS3 certainly is one of the smallest consoles in gaming history ;). New tech in todays form is always going to take a certain amount of space. Only when nanotechnology really gets a breakthrough, we'll see consoles getting smaller, or even disappear ;).
I didn't say Ultima was based on WoW. I just said that WoW was based on a game like Ultima. I even didn't say anything about that base being grinding or xp, 'cause there's a lot more to it. Ultima has certain aspects that are used in games like WoW. The skill tree is in some form based in the skill-based progression in Ultima Online. And I didn't even mention (any form of) PVP and the presence of a virtual economy.
Of course these games aren't one and the same, but there are just...
I think what Darkfiber was trying to say, is that many MMO's out there are heavily based on the base of WoW. Only he forgot to mention WoW itself is ofcourse based on other games such as Ultima Online and EverQuest. (Or just check out the MMORPG-page on wikipedia for a full history on MMORPG's)
Then again, Darkfiber isn't really right about all MMORPG's being a copy of that concept. A game as EVE Online is different from a game as WoW. And a game as Age of Conen tries to bring in...
You could say that the Wii is a virus. But by saying that, you'll also state that the Wii is progressive and always one step further than its cure. Since most hardcore gamers nowadays believe one of the cures for the Wii are the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, it would make sense that the Wii is a virus, since it isn't just one step further, but about a dozen.
So from a certain point of view, the guy has a point. But not necessarily a negative one :).
Will probably be that new Snatcher, from Kojima.
I hope they'll announce KOTOR3, even though SWTOR is coming, everyone is waiting for a closure to this Revan saga.
Sam Raimi isn't going to write this film. He is only to direct it, see to it that actors (voice/motion/whatever this film will use) are giving everything, as well as the entire filming/modelling/editing crew. Some folk at Blizzard will definitely write the script, or are probably already on it.
Haha, gast...
Translation:
Haha, dude...
Ofcourse, there are going to be a bunch of video's, giving us insight in events that took place between KOTOR and SWTOR. Even events before KOTOR will be reviewed. Just take a little peek at the timeline overview on swtor.com.
I think it would do Blizzard better, by trusting their community. They have a huge community to build upon (especially with the SC-community). Removing LAN could, and partially did, come off as disrespecting this community. And I sincerely hope this community will respond well in the end, since those will probably be the first ones who'd buy the game. This could affect Blizzard possibly even more.
Now, I understand developers and publishers need this gigantic profit, to work on o...
