Yeah it seems to be that way. I think off my head, the only 3rd party publishers that seem to give Sony that game only for the traditional hardcore audience was Konami with Peace Walker PSP/MGS4, with Metal Gear Rising going multiplat. Square Enix with FF Agito 13 PSP/Versus and with FF13 going multiplat. Last is Rockstar North with Agent that we know await along with Versus, with GTA4 going multiplat.
I agree, it seems that Action Jrpgs this gen seem to be much better than most turn-based games with Crisis Core and Kingdom hearts doing it justice. I still like most turn-based games though, just not many of them this gen are favorable to the majority... the western majority.
that con really is a joke. Reviewers are finding ways to get nitpicky these days, first it's JRPGs for being "linear", now it's the 4-move set in pokemon.
who don't like games to "watch". Does not make sense, how else will you progress in Heavy Rain without controlling them, that technically isn't "watching". You mind as well grab two sticks and shove them both in your eyes if you really don't like "watching" gaming. Oh wait... every game requires you to watch! Hypocrites.

I think false advertising like "ONLY ON" exclusivity on games, only to find out they're released to other platforms, is ruining gaming.
Atlus has a dedicated and a loyal fanbase, so kudos to them for publishing this game, I honestly thought that was the key to selling the game at a good rate. But yes Sony, think better next time.
You want money Level 5? Make Dark Cloud 3, simple as that, don't be like Square Enix who's been ignorant through out this gen.

I think the majority of Level-5's fans think this :) Like someone said above, some print did mention Dark Cloud 3 being in development. I just hope it really is Dark Cloud 3, it's been so long since the 2nd, my favorite so far from them. I'm all for them making new IPS, but damn gimmie Dark Cloud 3 first!
