Have you heard of a game called Red Dead Redemption 2?
That was an 8 year development cycle from a fully staffed studio using mature pipelines, tools, and workflows.
Get a grip.

A 10% stake in the company doesn't relinquish enough power to be "breathing down their necks"

The alpha felt like the Division, which I'd say falls really short of the Iron Man feeling they are aiming for.

The prices for everything on that site are insane, $100 for a graphic tee shirt? Sure, let me set fire to my money, may I have my shirt now?

I bought an X for this game so

I had a PS4 version pre-ordered for my Pro until I seen the Digital Foundry breakdown, I now own an Xbox One X.

I don't get fanboying over consoles with all the people down voting you, I own them all and literally upgraded to the X on launch night after I seen Digital Foundry's breakdown, because you are correct, the best version is on the X.

I had the PS4 version pre-ordered until I seen the digital foundry break down on how blurry it would have been on my Pro, went out and picked up a one X, native 4K and whisper quiet.

I have a Pro and had the PS4 version preordered, canceled and picked up the One X after watching digital foundry's break down, definitely wanted to experience the best possible version of this masterpiece. That said, Gamestop is offering $250 trade in + $100 off if your buying red dead, insanely good deal if anyone is on the fence about it.

Or, maybe its a community of gamers who enjoy the game in its early access state? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They started with a half dozen developers and your wondering why 2 AAA projects aren't complete yet?
For perspective, RDR2 is releasing this month from a fully staffed studio with a mature game engine who had a pre-production team working on it since before RDR1 released 8.5 years ago.

With Facebook pushing Oculus towards mobile VR and Sony already dominating "medium end" VR there is now a void for them to push wider FOV and wireless link to PS4/PS5 with a high end headset and no competition from Oculus.

WHY did they look at Destiny for inspiration and not GTA5. Rockstar made an incredible single player game and then just used that same game world for multiplayer, that is a significantly better formula than trying to make a single player story coincide within a fully multiplayer game.

More content? Who wants more "content"? The average gamer is 30+ years old with less time, please, just give us high quality games without the filler.

There is a 30-40 minute development deep dive EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY on their Youtube channel. Is it taking along time to develope? Yes.. does that mean its a scam? No.. So many mindless cucks. I couldn't imagine what the drones would be crying about if Rockstar had announced Red Dead Redepemption 2 was in development when they started on it... in 2010... Quality takes time, especially when your creating new technology, multiple game studios, & 2 games simultaneously.
