To me, it is definitely not a bad thing. BF3 is still a really great game, it's been my baseline game since it came out. I agree with you 100% Though of course we know they can actually help when they want to, which is almost never. Didn't play the first one. I hated and still regret ever having bought that glorified tech demo that was Crysis 2. Have to say though, after the crysis 3 beta I thought "Don't tell me I want this game now."
