Well you got a nice machine there and we all have our preferences. I do agree with you apples are nice machines however Ive got to say they are expensive and I could build a PC equally as good as that for alot less. I dont think it will die entirely as there will always will be supporters for it however few they maybe. I have to admit that I went from gaming on the PC to consoles mainly due to the convenience and cost of it. Id never be without a PC though and still use it all the time for other things as its way too old to play any of the games out today but its perfect for word processing, photos, internet, emulation etc.
Yeah I dont believe its as clear cut as this article makes it sound. I think Microsoft has got some hard times ahead but then all companies have ups and downs. I think the technology industry is changing so fast and so much that there is so many new companies (e.g Google) on their way up and microsoft needs to keep moving on with new ideas. Never played Duke Nukem 64 myself but just as charmers just said Duke Nukem 3D for PC was a fantastic game! Not played it for years though but still have the game I got back in 96. Lets hope this game comes sooner rather than later.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but noticed one or two of the first comments asking what was tiscali. Well its an ISP in the UK so if your in another country then you no need worry. I dont get your point? You talk as if MS would develop games on Blu-ray. At best microsoft would develop another add-on and just use it for playing movies. This wouldnt be giving MS a head start in anything but just become like other companies who have released blu-ray players. If sony thought the way you did then they wouldnt be throwing out invites for MS to join the Blu-ray camp.
