Pc's have been doing 1080p for about 7 years.
Also wiiU will have a dx10 card so I hear.
I haven't seen one indication of next gen graphics or effects on the wiiU. 1080p is not impressive. It's normal.

That is because it's not way beyond current gen. I think it's the table that hikes the price up.
The specs are not next gen at all.
1gb ram & 1gb vRam will most likeley be surpassed by ps4/720.
Pc's have 4-8gb ram today & 1-3gb vRam.
And windows 8 uses 380mb ram while nintendo OS needs 1gb. How could this happen on a console? It uses more resources than a pc now.

Knowing sony they will want to combat wiiU. I wouldn't be surprised to see a ps3 + vita bundle. But I am not sure what price they could do it.
I am keeping my ps3 until it dies. I want ps4.

That is all. Every other one made for pc players was good. What happened? Oh yeah competitive old school style shooters are dead for the mainstream. But hey they made lots of cash anyway. In Valve/CS:GO I trust.
