Well, yes. Sales is a factor. Generally when a game sells very well, it`s a good game. However, there can be gems that are overlooked and don`t sell so well, and that`s sad. But ps3 fanboys try very hard to disregard sales, simply because almost every big name 360 game outsells every big name ps3 game, so ps3 fans don`t base whether a game is good or not on sales, which is understandable.

I thought the sex in Mass Effect was very tasteful, talking to Ashley after every major mission, with the best dialogue ever, slowly led up to the 30 second scene in the end. Very well done, but that didn`t stop FOX news from slandering it. Hahaha, I remember when we all ganged up and brought Cooper Lawrence`s book rank down on Amazon...lol good times.

Monthly fee? I can find year subscriptions for around $40. If you do some hunting, you could find them for $30. It`s really not a big deal, PS3 fanboys just need to find things to complain about.
