I think if MS and Sony started together, they might be neck and neck in sales with Sony getting a slight lead. But yeah, 360 took advantage of that 1 year lead so unless some miracle happens, I don't see the PS3 overtaking them in the US.

Lets say there are 500,000 PS3s and 400,000 copies of madden are sold on it. Thats an 80 percent attach rate.
Now, lets say there are 900,000 360s and 700,000 copies of madden sold on it. Thats only a 77% attach rate.
