Weird list. And I would've add Portal.
Agreed, I felt like The Last of Us story was MY story, like I was Joel protecting Ellie. In Bioshock, it was more like I was a spectator. The story was good, but didn't feel as much involved in it as I was in TLOU. Just my opinion, though.
I cried during Kingdom Hearts and Shadow of the Colossus endings. But it was during cinematics. The Last of Us is the first game that had me crying while playing. I never thought that would happen, but it did. Another reason for me not to ever forget that game.
Would've been creepier without them talking the whole vid.....
But in the end, you will only need one disc to play the game, so that's not as bad for Xbox players as the title and the description make it sound.....
"Then, there’s new titles like The Order: 1886, which could finally break the mould in its own way once it’s on the shelves."
The Order is going to be a third-person action game, not a FPS.
"I need to build something that is, to me, what BioShock is to Ken. No matter how long it takes, I have to start now."
When I think about it, I realize that was he says is really relevant. Whenever you hear the name Bioshock, you hear Ken Levine, as if he was the one and only who worked on it. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a genious and Bioshock is so good mainly thanks to him, but it must be hard to be a 2K developer and basically live and work in his shadow....
There Will Be Blood sucked ass ? Are you being serious ? Like....For real ?
Deserved.
Joel carrying Ellie out of the hospital. Tears.
I thought the relationship bewteen the Prince and Farah was much more compelling than that between him and Elika. And Warrior's Within was unnecessarily violent, in my opinion. In other words, I want the next PoP to be like a better version of Sands of Time which is to me the best episode of the franchise and one of my favourite games of all time.
Oh ? I thought The Twin Snakes was a cool remake (and I played the original). And remaking MGS with the Fox Engine AND overseen by Kojima hismelf wouldn't bother me to be honest.
I think TLOU should be remembered as one of the only rare games that deserve a perfect score, regardless of those small glitches. I know that no game is perfect, but I just can't think of one single part or element of the game that I didn't like. The graphics, the music, the gameplay, the story. It moved me far beyond my expectations. Don't get me wrong, I get that you loved it, I just wanted to share my point of view too. I would give the game 11 out of 10.
Those games are typically designed for the Xbox audience. I mean, don't get me wrong, those are great games. Gears is a quality franchise. But it's brainless. You move, you shoot. It may be graphically beautiful and fun to play, but it's really not what I'm looking for. I want a story, people to care about, etc..
Noctis in KH III would be cool.
It would still have no exclusives that I'm interested in (Sorry if you find Titanfall amazing, this is just not my kind of games), so no reasons FOR ME to buy it.
Looks creepy as hell.
I love Pokemon. Every new game means new journey, new land to explore, new people to meet, new pokemons to capture. It's a true adventure. My pokemons are my team, I care about them more than I care for most of video game characters these days. I admit that the first ones are my favourite, because of nostlagia, but Black & White (1 and 2) were awesome and X & Y look great too. I love that franchise :)
To me, it looks as if they had planned everything from the beginnnig so that people would say "Hey, look ! Microsoft is such a great company that listens to people.". I wouldn't be surprised if they gradually go back to their original policies once the Xbox One is out.
Butler is a terrible actor in my opinion. I would've chosen Daniel Day Lewis or Hugh Jackman instead.
On topic : Cool art indeed. Reminds me of the chara design of Tarzan or Treasure Planet.
