I'm buying this day one regardless, too.
However, Uncharted without Nathan would be like Tomb Raider without Lara Croft, or MGS without (a) Snake. lol. I would miss him a lot, it's one of the best characters ever.
But I trust ND. With or without him, they're still going to come up with an amazing game.
@ChickeyCantor
"You're talking about ARTSTYLE."
Well, I said : "What matters the most in my opinion is the art direction". So yes, that's what I was talking about, indeed...
My point is that graphics do matter of course, because without graphics we wouldn't have games. But that's not the most important. You can have 1844848454 pixels and a super frame rate in a game, if the design and the art are poor, then...
To you, maybe. As for me, I never considered graphics to be "that" important. What matters the most in my opinion is the art direction. If you take games like Bioshock, or Shadow of the Colossus, they are graphically flawed but OMG do they look good. I'd rather play a game that has a real visual identity (Bastion, Killer 7, Journey), than a 60fps overly detailed soulless game.
No suprise here. Stellar system.
@Irishguy95
The Real Reborn (which is a complete rebuilt version of the original FF XIV) came out last year..
If they do, that would be some kind of achievement. Even this kind of open-worlded MMO running smoothly at 30fps seems unreal for me lol, so imagine 60fps. It would definitely showcase how powerful the PS4 is, and how devoted developers are to pushing boundaries and making the best out of it.
Seeing the splitscreen feature slowly dying like this is depressing. Am I the only one who still enjoy this functionnality ? Am I the only one who cannot afford a second TV just to play with someone else at home ?
What a bummer. Especially for an online game. I mean, even CoD has splitscreen...
That would be to perfect timing, now that people finally get to realize how cool the PS4/PSV combo can be :)
@Septic
"It's like watching two sexy girls fighting over you. The Xbox One is an ex girlfriend....."
That's were you lost me lol
The PS3 ended up beating the 360 despite a catastrophic launch... So I cannot imagine how Microsoft could possibly beat Sony, with the release of the PS4 being a tremendous success. Plus, so many games to look forward to (Infamous, Uncharted 4, The Order, etc...).
You talk way too much.
Have you played Xenoblade ? If not, then you cannot possibly see what I meant.
Cheers.
36 or more different endings x 50 hours for One playthrough equals approximatively 1800 hours of gameplay, not counting side-quests, and the fact that the game is 30 times the size of previous Witcher games..
Challenge accepted.
What about X ? Pretty much the one and only Next-Gen looking Wii U game, so far..
"EA like Activision is only focused on games that can be big franchises"
Translation.
EA like Activision is only focused on milking franchises in order to make as much money as possible.
The Wii U is not bankable enough for them. That's all.
I replayed Infamous 2 recently. Such an insanely fun game but Damn! It looks like a psOne game now, compared to this lol.
Can't wait either !!
Glad to hear something positive about TP. It received a lot of praise, but surprinsingly it's being bashed a lot as well, and I don't really get why. It's definitely no as good as OoT, but it's one truly great ADVENTURE game, like we don't get to play really often this time. I enjoyed it a lot.
I would definitely buy that on a Next-Gen console !
Wow that's cool, the first generation starters are the best imo. I can't wait to see what the new one will look like, though but it'll be tough to come up with sth cooler that Blastoise or Charizard.
@devwan
Lol what did you smoke, seriously. I didn't attacked anyone.
Those particles. Those light effects.
Those graphics *.*
