The games from MolyJam might hav not worked so well, but I still like some of molydeuxs ideas like “playing a character who is PRETENDING to be blind, so you have to keep bumping into things to not arouse suspicion” -- that sounds great to me.
This article went to some pretty dark places for games journalism, but then - "the proof is in the pudding – which incidentally a terrible place to put it, ruins the pudding and the proof gets all soggy" lol >_<
good idea.
i liked that it was 'inside-out' too. its a clever idea to look at things from the background characters points of view.
this was really funny, bioware rightly gets alot of props for its romances - but there are definitly flaws there too.
I find this really interesting, especially because I personally don't really rate most of the games on the list. nice post though. :)
I think the real stry is how much those 'clones' he mentions rip-off Canabalt, the trailer for the Must Run one just looks like canabalt with bettr graphics. This is great writing, all reviews should hav humor.
its defntly the smoothest looking level-creator i've ever seen, i really like the whole drag and drop approach ... looking forward to its release a lot.
