For my sins, That's exactly what I did. My Wii U version didn't arrive last Friday with Amazon saying that they weren't sure when I would get it either (tho I have had it now!). My plan was always to get the Switch in the summer, but my local store had them in so I thought sod it get it all now. Honestly I'm really happy I did. But I wouldn't of got the Switch and BOTW if my Wii u version would of landed on time. So I'm in agreement with you unless you do plan to get S...

I think it's the most comfortable controller I've ever used, my only complaint is Nintendo continues to not use analog triggers.

All my snes and mega drive game carts load fine to this day. And what about ds/3ds games? I've never heard anything about a mouldy tooth problem. But then again I've always looked after my carts by keeping them in there intended cases. I've personally always preferred cartridges to discs. More durable and easier to keep in new condition.

The frame drops are no game breaker for me, also strangely is anyone else finding it runs pretty much flawlessly in handheld mode? Don't think I've noticed a dropped frame anywhere

Your spot on with the screen size and resolution. The switches UI and zelda both are really crisp and clear on the handheld. I'm more than happy with it.

Yes I've been looking forward to playing this for ages on my Wii U only to receive an email from Amazon U.K. Telling me my preorder won't be arriving now until next Wednesday..... bastards.

Personally I'm Glad to see an rgb range option. Finally full range rgb on a Nintendo system.

I think all retro consoles still look great. It's a shame modern consoles take the "I must look good in the living room" approach to design instead of the cool bedroom look of the olden days.

I've got a great console to play my ps1 classics on.... it's called a Sony PlayStation.

Wow, I mean just wow. Thanks for that story.

Dunno about Xbox one, hopefully it works on pc, looks the perfect retro pad for emulation.

P.G.R.5 or series reboot.

Who is this bloke? I keep seeing articles with him saying this and that, but who is he and why does what he says about the gaming industry seem to matter? Genuine question.

Not sure it screams play it safe with FIFA, more like let's put out our biggest seller on the switch knowing full well that any fan of FIFA will own a PlayStation or Xbox. I mean there's not a boat load of mario and zelda fans waiting with baited breath to play a PS3 version of FIFA.
If they were smart they would of made an exclusive version of battlefield or a Cool Star Wars game and saw how well that sold.

I can't bring myself to tell my Wii U its dying. I guess Zelda will be it's last day in the sun.

Maybe, but the gameplay is pretty much guaranteed to be great. If I'm really enjoying a game I never think I wish this had better graphics etc, I'm just involved in it.
