If you've played the original two doom games, you're going to love this doom. If you've never even heard of doom in your life, you're going to love this doom. Great to see a reboot of an old game that appeals to both audiences!

Very true, but as far as innovation there's not much. The one stand-out moment in multiplayer is getting to momentarily play as a demon terrorizing the opposing team. As fun as the multiplayer is, I just don't think it's enough.
I wouldn't say it's TERRIBLE. That's a strong word to use. An example of a terrible game would be like Ride to Hell or Mindjack. I personally didn't the think the game was all that bad, but opinions are opinions.
They still haven't said if you will be able to change your online ID. Hopefully you will be able to.
I never pre-order games. I always wait around a month or two for patches, deals, price drops, and people's opinions. I'd rather not pay full price for a game that is possibly buggy, poorly optimized, or just bad. I feel bad for everyone who pre-ordered No Man's Sky, Battlefield 4, and Arkham Night.
