From E3, to GamesCom, to TGS...
How many new announcements you expecting in a 90day span?
LOL....
Xbox One will be getting full DLNA support very soon...
Very Very soon... This is coming from a member of the Preview Program...
No need for any of this on the One.
I'm in the preview program. This is one of the smaller updates for the One.
I currently have the September update. September being a bigger, better update. External Media support actually works much better than expected.
Don't worry PS4 fans (I have one of those as well) Sony is working to give us some decent features in the coming months (well that's what they said at least) lets hope it to be true.
@jdoki.
Good questions. To which none of us know the answer to.
I based my answers what came out of Phil's mouth.
"We don't have a action game like Uncharted with that level of quality" CD/SE were looking for a partner, anyone could have done this deal"
And CD/SE considered 6mil a flop.
That was there expectations not being met. It's still more $$$ than I can fathom.
Is P...
It's ok for whoever has the $$$ to get a quality game made.
People are always whining, Sony took this, Nintendo took that, MS moneyhatted everything...
It is very easy to end up like Crytek in the industry. Or even worse, end up like THQ.
Quality games cost quality $$$.
If CD/SE were the ones seeking a partner on this (read the Eurogamer interview), this lets me know that CD/SE, was not comfortable with the staff working...
Read the article again.
Not every single thing has to be 'PR Spin'...
"CD/SE were looking for a partner to work with. Anyone could have approached them and done this deal. Microsoft wasn't anything special"
Just read the Eurogamer article with Phil.
And it's confirmed.
CD/SE just didn't have the staff to make ROTTR bigger and better than TR.
So in a nutshell CD/SE are swinging for the fences for this sequel, and are need as much $$$ to get it done.
And it looks like CD/SE approached MS (and others it appears) to see what kind of partnership can be established.
Did you not read what I said.
CD/SE did not have the $$$ to get ROTTR where it NEEDED to be.
Which means the game wasn't properly staffed to make a bigger hit than TR.
TR sold 6million. ROTTR they probably want to sell 12-15million units, but probably didn't have the staff to put towards the game.
You always want your sequel to be, bigger and better.
READ THE ARTICLE PEOPLE...
CD/SE just didn't have the loot to get RROTR where it needed to be.
When the well starts too run dry, you look for water elsewhere.. And MS happens to have a pretty deep well that's filled with water, while making it rain as well.
TR isn't coming to PS for a little while... It is, what it is.
Articles like this are becoming a little long in the tooth.
People keep talkin about MS throwing $$$ around. These games aren't cheap to make at all. So at the end of the day, of course it's about $$$. I didn't even realize that, games that suck are actually pricey to make (Looking at you 'Too Human')
Unless we know the exact terms of the deal, people should just...
Not just you. Thought it was just me as well..
Ur rant is about nothing.
U (and millions of others out there) are ticked that Sony can't compete with MS when it comes to $$$. It absolutely drives y'all nuts...
I honestly hope MS keeps opening up the check book and making it rain..,
And this is coming from a ps4 owner...
what are you even ranting about? Do u actually think these trinkets are made at CD:PR?...
Really... What does pack'ins funded by MS have to do with a game.
U think CD:PR, actually took development staff and assigned them to the "Trinkets and Charms" division...
U just posted a rant about nothing.
Why so butt hurt over trinkets?
It cost you nothing pay it no mind.
Obviously it bothers, if you had to go on a rant about it.
If the gameplay experience is the same, then why are u berating Microsoft for them wanting to add incentives to the package. It's their dime, not yours.
My setup took no time at all.
But my day 1 patch took no time because I was on a 25mbos connection at the time (have since upped it to 50mbps down and 20up)...
And the author must have the worst shelving unit in history. Had to break a shelf? Wow...
I do understand that the One is a bulky box, but to break shelf to find a spot for it is just nuts...
I have a Xbox one (day one edition)... And I'm very lazy when outside o...
That's why I'm still pinching this salt :p
I gots my pinch of salt in me's hands...
But this is a very interesting discovery...
Maybe this is why MS isn't in a rush and trying to step on Valve/Steams toes on the pc front
Microsoft DRM attempt netted them an IOU with EA and Activision. Mark my words watch MS, EA, and Acti during 2015.
Once Activision games catalog get a little bigger on the One (where they can start with 4-5 games like EA), they will follow down EA's path.
@Vacancy.
You actually download the games, and run them locally ...
As most know, this "Indie movement" thing has driven me nuts.
But this is actually great to give the Indie devs their own stage in sorts to show off their games.
There are a handful of Indoes I really do want to play:
The Inside
Ori and the Blind Forrest
Super Hot
Cup Head
