When you have two alternating images, each one is brighter to compensate for the polarized glasses :)
Well, that will be true on the "true" 3d TVs. You may see some darkening on older models.
Great system and execution.
Theres a quote going around that from now on the site will have a business model that pays copyright holders, so one way or another, it wont be free.
Looking at the rest of his portfolio he is a skilled artist. Some of the lighting is off in some of the images, but seeing as how hes recreating old images thats fine. Look at the detail on her skin, shifts in pigment/blemishes, thats the hallmark of a good artist.
The amazon soundtrack isn't the full soundtrack (select tracks from), so I would advise against it. Preorder elsewhere, and just buy the full OST.
Its no different to real life. Things get cheaper and easier as time goes on. I wouldn't call it a slap in the face. Your new alt characters will benefit from this change just as much as a non 'veteran' player.
On the PSBlog it says its coming out on august 25th and shows the current psp-3000 design. Does this debunk the PSP400 (PSPGO) rumors? Why would they release the 3000 model as a collectors edition (with memory stick) after announcing the PSPGo that uses a supposed hard drive. Perhaps they're toying with us and will change the box art later... Or perhaps not. Hmm.
@ 7 - your correct. This doesn't seem to have any new details.
I followed the story outside of n4g. The guy had a laughable defense, basically saying that the deceased pulled a knife on him and he took the knife away and "didn't mean to hurt him" - however stabbing 86 times doesn't really count as self defense now does it. The knife was subsequently proved to be the murderers. He also tried to write a suicide note in the lettering of the deceased. Can anyone say busted?
Be glad justice was done - lets hope the media doesn't turn it...
We didn't have wireless optical mice and keyboards 12 years ago, we've come a long way in refining the design. Touch screens are nice, but there is only so much you can do with gesture based control - the range of movements you can perform is limited and slow. Once you start increasing the amount of gestures, it becomes less natural and more of a memorization anyways, buttons were invented for a reason - we didn't want to perform full mechanical motions :)
To sum up. Go mouse! Woo! ...
I think these mini developer WoW stories should be excluded, kind of getting silly the frequency to which we get topics barely different from one another. If you want to discuss WoW related things, head on over to mmo-champion.com or wowinsider.com IMO.
I used to live in New Zealand, and companies there will put release dates on software just to get pre-orders in (although this is a PSN title, it may be legit) and they wont actually know for sure. So, don't take it for a fact just yet :)
Between...
Casual Gaming (Zuma - Bejewelled etc)
and World of Warcraft
Im afraid,
I can tell you first hand that the increased budgets required to pump out game assets for current-gen tech means you need to sell more units. And you can't sell enough units on a PC anymore (unless you prefix the game with World-of....)
If you remove console gaming, you lose 80% of your PC games as well unfortunately.
Very Interesting article. Sets a few rumors straight and takes a good look at the behind the scenes power play of IBM-INTEL-SONY-MS.
It's quite likely. Bethseda has been having funding disputes with several studios, they're being very bullish with their owned houses. The assets might get pushed to another studio however.
