Dead Space is deffo the scariest game/film/experience I've ever had, it seemed like the game engine was actually designed to scare you. Scariest bit was when I went to save the game and all was fine then when I came out of the save camera angle, there was a claw of one of the necromorph's claws was hanging over me. I actually dropped the controller cause I jumped that much, taking advantage of a bloody SAFE/SAVE POINT is utter genius. It only happened once but for the rest of the g...
Oh for the love of god. Everyday I log onto N4G now there's a new article coming out about how Move is selling more pre orders than Kinect. Then next day Kinect is selling more than Move. Here's a though, lets wait till they come out, see which one sells the most then declare that the winner because sales is all that matters... right...
Am just playing through Uncharted 2, for the 6th time, and I'm still blown away by how good the graphics are. Not just technically but artistically as well which is something you don't get in games much these days so I would deffo put Uncharted 2 top of this list with Heavy Rain second and God Of War 3 third. Still though, Assassins Creed 2 number one... amazing game but if the article was just talking about graphics WTF.
Yea Dead Space 2 and Bulletstorm was all I was wanting to see but alas, still holding out hope for Kingdom Hearts 3 as always and yes I know it's got more of a shot being at TGS.
Amazing article but I'm not sure if that is the reason why fighting games aren't doing so well because Super Smash Brothers is more or less the ideal franchise this article is describing yet as a franchise it's not that spectacular.
I think the problem with fighting games isn't that the controls are too difficult to master, it's just not a major genre in the video game market. You have you're big blockbuster genres such as FPS, RPG, 3rd Person Shooter...
I wouldn't say Microsoft really factor into the equation since they don't really own a lot of studios. There is Rare (R.I.P) and some other ones they own but they prefer, as I'm sure you know, to do 2nd party games which still leaves timed exclusive and multi-platform questions.
If you want to compare Sony, as a publisher, Activision and EA are the best comparison since they all mostly comprise of owned studios. Sony tops both of them in my opinion, especially Acti...
Sony, first and foremost, are looking to make money. It's the same with every major corporation in the world, money comes first. It does seem that Sony is better at balancing it's studios creative freedom and artistic imagination better than other corporations but at the end of the day it does come down to making money off us gamers. As for the no content comment, please explain how any game Sony has released, or any game ever released for that matter, has no content on it. Are yo...
on this game. The graphics look alright but nothing special, there's some nice bits of details in some of the locations but on the whole Bulletstorm's graphics look much better. But, good graphics do not make a game and while I'm sure the story is going to be more environmental than Captain Planet at a Greenpeace rally the combat by all right should be pretty good, if Heavenly Sword is anything to go by. I must admit though, it does look like a game developing machine has been ...
Yeah I'm fine with Insomniac going multi-platform it just means that more people will get to experience the joy of there games. As for this article, I haven't read it but I can guess the layout of; blah blah blah ps3 studio went multi platform blah blah blah its because 360 has bigger install base blah blah blah soon the whole world will cower before the all mighty 360 blah blah blah. I don't see how this one was aloud through as it does seem like quite a bias article.
Yeah I have no doubt about that. The only bad game Rockstar has made to my memory was Liberty City and Vice City stories on the PS2 and they where only bad because they where ports of the PSP versions.
Thanks for the comment, it makes me feel a little less crazy now lol but I think this is something I'm not going to get out of my head until I see that first Agent trailer/screenshot/preview.
Didn't work :(
You know what mate, you give me 40 million dollars, a team of developers, the most up to date pcs you can, an office and I would love to do that but sadly that's never going to happen. If, by a small margin, you do have 40 million dollars could you please send it to Valve so they can have a big enough cash injection to learn PS3 coding.
I do have a ps3 but I ain't no fanboy, I just really really really want to play Left 4 Dead 1+2 and Portal 2.
What really confuses me is that Valve have, from what I have heard please correct me if I'm wrong, a smallish team and office but not only do they make games that sell millions and millions of copies but they also have the main platform that most pc, and soon to be mac, games are sold on.
What are they spending all that money on that means they can't hire a couple of new guys, team them up with the ex naughty dog guys and crack the ps3 code. Because at the end of the...
I really hate the fact that I can't hate Valve. On one side, they are refusing to develop for PS3, the only console I have due to not being rich, meaning I can't play Left 4 Dead and Portal 2 (as it stands) which really pisses me off but they are some of the most talented and gifted developers in the industry. I really would hate them if they weren't so dam amazing at what they do.
The cake is a lie... No Gabe Newell just ate it.
Heard that on...
It is your opinion so I'm not going to argue with you but MGS4 was an amazing game as well and at the end of they day there all part of the Sony Exclusive Family lol
Yea was the only one a could think of that's relevent to this generation as the only games that have got across the board 10 outa 10 on the main game websites that wasn't MGS4 lol. What would you have used?
If you look at any game that has a 10 on any website it means that there aren't enough flaws to make it anything less but perfect. Every game has flaws but if those flaws are small enough the game can get a perfect 10. A good example is GTA4, both gamespot and ign gave that game a 10/10 even though there is pop in and some of the missions are repetitive. It got a 10 because those flaws are so minuscule in comparison to everything else, it was more or less perfect.
As much as I would love this to be real, and if it is real you will hear me shouting a giant "OHHHHHH YYYYYEEEEAAAAAHHH", I just can't see IGN giving it a 10/10. The game is going to be absolutely amazing but I feel reviewers are going to mark it down for the gameplay being to much like the other games. Personally, I would give it 10/10 as I don't see that being a problem because at the end of the day this is a God of War game and any game in the series deserves no less than a per...
Left 4 Dead 1 + 2 are two reasons I wish I could afford all 3 consoles and not just me PS3. I have been waiting to play them for ages because at the end of the day, dam do they look silly and fun.
