While I understand why gamers feel this way toward Konami, the company itself is thriving. The stock price is at its highest since since 2002, without the assistance of a AAA title. Switching to mobile has worked.
No one is forcing anyone to play Heroes of the Storm. If you want a skin for Overwatch, you can get it from playing HotS.
Many people don't play as D.Va and a lot of Overwatch players don't care much about loot boxes.
These events can be annoying because of the impact they have on games - players dropping out etc - but in a week's time it's all over.
