What I care about is not missing out on AAA games. As long as I have all playstation exclusives and all third party, and they are running decently on the ps4 pro like 1440-1800p, I don't care if it's at 4k on Scorpio. I have all the selection with no limitations. That's more important to me.

I think Sony should have announced at E3 as a surprise release, and the timing is perfect. But I can't blame Activision because they want as many people aware of this as they can. But it would have been cool at E3. Anyway, this year playstation is on a roll and it seems that there is no stopping it.

I was referring to back in the days prices where we used to pay the same amount in dollars as the US even if our currency is lower. we used to pay 60$ CAD in the PS3 era, and shortly after the PS4 it was bumped to 70$ adn then to 80$. Its 2020, I come from a future where wallets dont exist anymore. Sony is just connected to our bank accounts directly. I pay 99$ per year, which is 8.25$ per month. Its an amazing price, its costing me less than netflix. But as far as the service goes. access to 450 games for 8.25$ per month is decent. I dont think the CPU will be underclocked when running normal PS4 games. Afterall, Sony said the PS4 pro was also to provide more stable framerate. Digital Foundry will test it, but Im pretty sure you cant underclock a CPU, you can shut down cores and that would require additional programming which would be dumb because if devs progam to shut down cpu cores, why put that time when you could be working on a pro patch!

Actually that isnt true, the GPU is for pushing the graphics and if there is no graphics update aka pro version the pro doesnt use that GPU power. However, the CPU is 30% stronger and frames and frame dips are mostly due to CPU, therefore games will run at more solid 30/60fps. Especially those with unlocked framerates, or with capped framerate that dip below 30. So games will run better.
