In my opinion (higher res with 90-100 fps + vrr) is better than (lower res and texture in 120).
In the first instance, you won't feel the frame drop especially if you have VRR, but you gonna notice the higher res and texture. This is more balanced approach in my opinion.

There are a lot of gamer from less fortunate countries like mexico, India, Africa....etc.
Some of them still use 5-7 years old PCs laptop to game.
Unfortunately most pc users still use HDD, you can't just abandon them now business wise.
Maybe in a couple of years when game design become more demanding.
The game looks fun.. reminds me of Doom/Wolfenstein but with an indie developer.
Of course you would need a high speed connection where you having that lunch, otherwise it's unplayable at times.
