What a fine way to start june. Toiling away to find out what happened to the FFIV crew after the whole crazy moon battle. Man it is totally gonna bring me back playing those classic graphics on a big screen. I think i finally found an excuse to purchase the classic controller.
And i loovve looking at that girls asss. Yeah... seriously, you ever try picking up chicks with your xbox or ps3??? it doesn't work. Wii owners utter the phrase wii sports and suddenly we got three girls at our house from the bar. That's what i'm talkin about.
I'm guessing this story is nothing more then sony folks trying to find the glimmer of light after the Ps3 win streak in japan finally ended. Why can't sony kids just accept their going to be third this whole console gen. Reguardless of what happens in japan. I swear! Doesn't anyone else remember how japan played dreamcast for 3 or 4 years after they stopped selling it in america?
That is the eternal testament to how useless the stats from japan are.
We all loved the duke but sometimes if you love something you have to let it go. I am one gamer who feels maybe it was dukes time anyhow. While his one liners were epic. He is antiquated and it is best to just pop on one of those old games once in a while and enjoy him the way he was meant to be. In classic games... like the blaster master tank and dynamite heady.
That will not get me to buy this title for my wii. As long as these graphics look only as good as some half asssed ps2 title. Then i'm not touching it. Not much of what i've seen on this title says to me it will be worth getting. I don't care if it's a continuation of the franchise if your too lazy to even use the wii to it's full potential for it.
yeah just look up shnazzyone in the forums and view the 140 post road to being forever banned. From introducing myself to banned in under a month i believe.
My greatest fault was spending a day in a topic i created viciously and satiricly defending the wii against all comers. It was actually kindof funny. But not to the admin apparently.

Helix deserves a best of spot too being such a fun, unique and exhausting rhythm based game. Additionally... where is lost winds??? How lazy is only three games for each category?? At least go for 5. There were alot of stinkers over the last year too. Easily could to a top 10 worst games list. with pop-up pirate and the infamous crap racing game which name i can't remember all i know was you were just a wheel and it bit donkey balls.
still looks like an awesome game. You HD gamers better get used to saying "it would look better/ be better on ps360" because your gonna be saying it alot as all the good titles make their way to the #1 system this gen.

I used to have 7 bubbles then i started trying to point out that japan numbers aren't that important. Which coincidentally is only a bad thing to say when sony is winning in those stats.
In reguards to this i'm happy I like how stylised wii games are getting. Nothing like an souped up Xbox in the HD gen to finally bring out true creativity in developers. If 2009 is looking this good already then i can't wait for 2010.
I agree Chrono Trigger DS is far and away the best version of this classic title. I couldn't express the joy of having all the commands on the bottom screen for easy access and leaving the main screen uncluttered. Bet if it was for psp this would have been approved by now... good review tho.
I think we might have reached an interesting point where it would take a whole dang lot for nintendo to lose the casual appeal. This means they can finally focus on the needs of core gamers. I hope nintendo understands that they can do no wrong in the eyes of the casuals. As long as they come through with wii sports resort they will be happy for a year and a half.
